Here is the Switch 2 Nintendo DIrect:

Is there anything you’re excited about?

For me, voice chat, even though that should have been in the original Switch from day 1 .

As far as games… I was a bit excited about the new Zelda game till I noticed it’s another Warriors type game.

There is a new Donkey Kong game but I’m not too sure about that Donkey Kong, he looks very different from the DKC Donkey Kong.

Overall I was not really all that impressed, I mean, I’m sure I’ll end up getting one because I’m a fool but really I didn’t see anything that I was like “Oh WOW!”

It was the same for me. Maybe we are getting old. It’s exciting to see the GameCube games on the service though. Specially enhanced resolution and sharpness. But I have mixed feelings they are releasing the original version of Wind Waker when… there’s a way superior version on the WiiU.

I don’t get too excited about that because

  1. You need to have the more expensive subscription
  2. They can add or remove games whenever they want
  3. You never own those games, it’s just a Netflix
  4. They are starting with a very low number of games

So I much rather play my gamecube games on my Wii lol.

I mean, it’ll be nice anyway, I’m always down for getting more out of what I’m already paying for. N64 games on the Switch do look pretty good so maybe the same will happen for the GC. I just, I don’t know, I still hate knowing that I don’t want to invest too much time on a game there because it could be gone next month for all I know.
